This presentation reports on the process and on the recommendations the team made to the College about both college/program wide assessment process and the institutional applicability of Blackboard Outcomes. The institution trained a small group of faculty and professional staff in the Blackboard Outcomes Assessment Management System. The team developed and disseminated a signature assignment designed to assess Information Literacy. Artifacts were collected and assessed using Blackboard Outcomes and results interpreted by the team. The following fall semester Blackboard Outcomes was then used to collect artifacts for the Multi-State Collaborative Assessment pilot project. This spring we piloted program level assessment of a capstone course.
