    Engage, validate, and reward student learning with digital badges: help learners showcase their skills and competencies to their peers and potential employers. The presenters will share how the use of badges has influenced and enhanced learning opportunities at their institutions, including a pilot that used badges to determine the effects on collaboration, engagement, and course grades. This panel presentation will offer opportunities to share practical suggestions and techniques that work to deepen student engagement through the portable evidence of learning that badges provide
