You can help set standards for Flipped Learning

Blog Post created by debbora.woods on Feb 19, 2018

This morning I received an email from Flipped Learning pioneer, Jon Bergmann, Chief Academic Officer at the Flipped Learning Global Initiative. I've worked with Jon on several programs and events over the last 8 years, and I'm continually energized by the amazing work he and his team are doing across the globe!

Here's what his email had to say...I encourage you to get involved if you are an advocate of Flipped Learning!

I'm writing to personally invite you to join a distinguished team of Flipped Learning practitioners to help define and establish global standards for Flipped Learning. As a delegate, your voice and vote will represent your school and content area as you share your experience, insights, and recommendations.

The Global Standards Project is led by a prominent cohort of international Flipped Learning leaders. The co-chairs include:

  • Dr. Eric Mazur, a professor at Harvard University and one of the founders of Flipped Learning
  • Dr. Raul Santiago Campion, professor of didactics and pedagogy at University of La Rioja, Spain
  • Dr. Gwo-Jen Hwang, chair professor at the National Taiwan University
  • Dr. Caroline Fell Kurban, director at MEF University, the first fully flipped higher ed institution in the world

This historic initiative was started by the FLGI International Faculty, and I'm pleased to invite you to take a seat at the table, have a voice in the process, and vote.
