We’ve created this space for you to learn more about our Partnership activities & programs, especially about what it means to be a Blackboard Partner and how to become a Blackboard Partner, if not already. Once a Partner, you gain exclusive access to helpful information and resources, particularly regarding our systems and how to integrate.
If you are a current Partner, log in here https://community.blackboard.com/login.jspa with your Behind the Blackboard account, then send Mark Kauffman the email address associated with the account. Mark will provide access for you to the rest of the spaces and information here, including the Marketing Corner, a library of our newsletters, tutorials, recordings of our webinars, and events calendar.
We currently are in the process of populating this community space with some of this content soon. We look forward to working with you and welcome your feedback and questions.
The Blackboard Partnership Team
Every Blackboard Partnership includes a Behind the Blackboard account. Behind the Blackboard gives you access to all of our knowledge base, downloads, including the DVM and full installers, support bulletins, announcements, and product updates. You can also market your product in our Extensions Catalog.
For about $2K/yr (pro-rated based on the month you join) you can become a Blackboard Member Partner. You get a developer's license and access to the Behind the Blackboard knowledge base. From BtBb you can download different versions of the developer's virtual machine, and the complete Learn installation package. 30-days installation support is included. Your developer's license only limits the number of courses and users you create on your system. If you would like to talk to someone on the partner team send email to BusDev&AlliancesInquiry@blackboard.com. You can also use this form to start the conversation Blackboard Contact Us (Scroll down the page you see to the form.)
Once you have Behind the Blackboard access you can file a ticket to request access to our Partner SaaS systems, both the Original Experience and Ultra. Open a ticket. In the subject line request access to the Partner SaaS Smoke Test Systems. In the description, request that the ticket be assigned to Business Development, and provide first and last names, email address and phone numbers for 1-3 users.
The alternative to a Partnership is our Open Innovation Initiative (OII). With the OII you can use a Learn AMI for REST and LTI development. You will not have access to the Extensions Catalog, Behind the Blackboard access, or any support outside of this community.
