Our data science research team has been investigating how faculty and students use Blackboard Learn, our LMS, and looking into the relationship between that use and student achievement. This week we released a study on our research of 70,000 courses across 927 institutions, with 3,374,462 unique learners using Blackboard Learn during Spring 2016 in North America. After a cluster analysis was conducted, five course patterns emerged. To learn about those course archetypes and their associated data, check out this blog post by Dr. John Whitmer. And if you want to dig deeper into the data, you can download the complete research report here.
